Dublin is the capital and largest city in Ireland. It'slocated by a bay on the east coast, at the mouth of the Liffey River that sits in the province of Leinster, it's also borded on the south by the Dublin Mountains.

Kilkenny

Kilkenny is a medieval town in the southeast ireland. The main centerpeice is is the castle which was built in 1195 by Norman occupiers.

why I want to visit

I think it'd be really cool to be able to explore an old castle from so longago and learn about it's history

Guinness Storehouse

Guinness Storehouse is a seven floor building with many bits of history and beer to try. The first floor talks about the beer's ingredients and the founder of the brewery. The other floors talk about the history of Guinness,including interactive exhibit's. The seventh has the Gravity Bar that looks out over Dublin and guest get to drink a pint of Guinness.

why I want to visit

I want to learn more about the cities history and I obviously I can't drink but still getting to be there and interact with the history.

Dublin Traditional Irish Musical Pub Crawl

The Dublin Traditional Irish Musical Pub Crawl is different from any other pub in Dublin. There's live music with audience participation and is led by two professional musicians that explain the history of and stories of traditonal irish music.

why I want to visit

Just like the Guiness Storehouse I can't drink but hearing the traditional songs of Dublin and learning where they are from seems exciting.

Why I Want to go to Dublin

I've always been interested in the United Kingdom but more specifically Ireland. The old architecture and the folklore has always been interesting to me. I'd love to go when I'm older and see what Dublin is actually like. The culture is also something that is very fascinating to me from learning about it in a school project.
